A shorter, more compact version that keeps all the songs
intact, but replaces much of the dialogue with narration
designed to bind the songs together.
The show opens to wild cavorting and primitive drumming
as a wicked sorcerer shatters an evil mirror and disperses
the shards throughout the land. The pure friendship of Kai
and Gerda is broken when a mote strikes kai in the eye.
He falls under the Snow Queen's spell of cold, hard reason,
and everyone thinks he's dead.

Armed only with the power of true friendship, Gerda pursues
him to the far north. Into the River of Life, through the
Garden of Narcissism, to the realm of the Snow Queen, she
travels to find Kai and the secrets of Eternity as well.
Hans Christian Andersen would have been pleased with this
versatile production, and so will your audiences.
